Helper Unit on Donner
In a pouring rain at Towle, CA, SD45T-2 No. 9328 adds braking power to an SP westbound off the UP at Ogden coming down the western slope of Donner Pass.
The locomotive at the top of the page in daylight colors is not an F7. It's either an E8 or E9. I'm not sure if SP ever painted any F7's in daylight color scheme.
